How to prepare zucchini for freezing? Practical tips
Young and small specimens are best for freezing. All you need to do is wash, dry and then cut into small cubes. Remember to remove the flesh and seeds from large and slightly overgrown zucchinis. The young vegetable does not need to be peeled, because the skin is very thin. It is worth peeling only the larger and older specimens. Put the sliced pieces into ziplock bags and place in the freezer. Some people blanch zucchini before freezing, that is, they put them in boiling water for a while and then rinse with cold water. This makes it tastier after thawing. However, it is not necessary and you can freely freeze the vegetable without blanching.
