Falafel with vegetables

Falafel is a dish which has become extremely popular in Poland in recent years. All thanks to the fact that it is vegetarian, healthy and tasty. In many cities, there are catering outlets that offer falafel.

What is falafel?

Falafel are very simple to prepare, deep-fried cutlets of ground chickpeas with additives. To prepare them, soak chickpeas in water overnight and then grind with the addition of onion, garlic and parsley. Add spices (pepper, ground paprika, cumin, marjoram) and form balls about 4 centimeters in diameter. Fry for a few minutes in deep fryer. We suggest serving with a salad of raw vegetables – chopped romaine lettuce, olives, peppers, tomato, topped with olive oil. Can be served with hummus.
